My passion for glass began in 1985 while attending a glass blowing workshop at Red Deer College, Alberta. Six years later I graduated from the Alberta College of Art. I was fortunate enough to study at the famous Pilchuk glass school in Stanwood, Washington,U.S.A. Pratt Fine Art Center in Seattle, Washington and several glass workshops internationally.
I have exhibited internationally including the Glass Biennial in Biot France. I am now part of their permanent collection, as well as the Alberta Craft Council collection and private collections internationally.
The translucency of glass gives it a fourth dimensional quality using light to describe an inner glow or search for the soul. My inspiration comes from nature, my love of color,myths and my European cultural background.
For each process I use a different specially formulated glass.
